I enjoy working on Acute Pool as this has given me a variety of challenges from learning in multiple different areas, such as Medical, Rehab, Hospice, Orthopedics, Surgical, Pediatrics, Special Care Nursery and the Emergency Department. I've been very fortunate in my career to be on Acute Pool which has allowed me to be exposed to various units within Bendigo Health. I first completed an EN Grad year, worked several years on casual bank then completed my RN. After my RN grad year I commenced on Acute Pool and through this was exposed to ICU and ED, after completing my CCRN I returned to pool and spent several years working across the hospital. I loved my time on pool for the flexibility and the exposure to places that I hadn't thought of working before"
