Registered Nurse Work for Australia's Leading Children's Hospital Friendly and supportive team environment 2 year Fixed Term Contract opportunity! About the Role: Full time ongoing position at 0.42 FTE/32 hrs per fortnight within the Ambulatory Services/Day Medical Unit. You will be responsible for providing care to patients and families within the Day Medical Unit, as part of a nurse-led team. The treatment provided to children and adolescents during the day admission is for a variety of conditions requiring treatments and procedural support.
Classification for this position will range from RN Grade 2 year 3 YP4 RN3 - RN Grade 2 year 8 YP9 RN8 (base salary $83,699.20 to $100,146.80 pro rata, per annum, plus superannuation).
What you'll achieve: Conduct a comprehensive and systematic nursing assessment to improve the quality of nursing. Provision and implementation of quality clinical care. Manage workload based on the assessment, acuity and optimal time for intervention. Use a range of assessment techniques to collect relevant and accurate data. Your skills and experience: Recent acute paediatric nursing experience. Demonstrated commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
