About The RoleAn exciting opportunity has become available for a permanent part-time Registered Nurse to work within the team of the LHD Drug Court/MERIT team. In this position, the clinician will provide specialist drug and alcohol services within court diversion programs (Adult Court and Magistrates Early Referral into Treatment) for clients presenting with substance use issues.
Duties include:- Provide evidence-based drug and alcohol assessment, case management, and counselling services to patients accessing the MERIT and Drug Court programs.- Assist with participants on the Opioid Treatment program and OAT Clinics, working closely with their prescriber.

Our senior staff and educators have a 'doors open' policy, readily available to provide you with the right information or support to make decisions and referrals. You'll work with the educators one-on-one until you find your feet, and your peers (a team of experienced staff) will always have your back.
