The Role: There are Part Time and Full Time positions within the Family Healthcare Support.
This role works across Family Healthcare Support, providing clinical care to families, and education and training to in-home Support workers in the school and home. This is a statewide program; therefore, regional travel will be required with adequate notice and planned accordingly.
Classification for this position will be YU15 ($102,278 base salary per annum, plus superannuation).
You Will be Responsible For: Providing family-centred care through a holistic approach using systematic assessment of the child's medical needs in conjunction with their psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs.Planning and implementing nursing care for patients in the Post-acute Care service, Homecare Program, School Care Program and Family Healthcare Support.Facilitating the training and assessment of support workers for in-home care for eligible patients.Your Skills and Experience: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and autonomously as necessary.Excellent time management and organisational skills.Proven ability to work independently and demonstrated initiative in performing duties.Ability to work well under pressure and be flexible to changing priorities and environment.Minimum of 3 years pediatric nursing experience.Other Requirements: Current National Criminal Record Check, or willing to obtain.Valid Working with Children Check.Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.Compliance with RCH's "Staff Immunisation - Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases" procedure.Parkville location and close to public transport.Culture of continuous improvement.Application Process: To apply, you will need a resume and a tailored cover letter outlining your skills, experience, and suitability for the position in line with the requirements of the position description.
