Location:The Registered Nurse Community strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.
The role: Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals within the defined community practice area.Launceston Community Nursing Service: Is a positive proactive service caring for the Launceston community for clients in their home and clinic setting.Provides care with a wellness and reablement lens with clients discharging from hospital requiring support post-surgery, invasive device management, continence, wound care, and palliative care.Providing one-on-one nursing care with clients in their homes and community clinics and empowering them to have increased quality of life is a core value for Launceston Community Nursing Service.Details of Appointment: Permanent, part-time, shift-worker position working 40 hours per fortnight, commencing from 13 October 2024.

Salary: $75,902 - $102,908 pro rata, per annum.
Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Agreement 2023 and Nurses and Midwives (Tasmanian State Service) Interim Agreement 2013.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.Current Driver's Licence.*Registration/licences that are essential requirements of this role must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role and the status of these may be checked at any time during employment.
