The Devonport Community Health Centre is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their team.
The Team: Mersey-Leven Community Health Nursing and Home Care service (MLCHN& HCS) operates within a primary health framework to deliver nursing and home care services to clients within our catchment area, covering from Ulverstone in the west to Bakers Beach in the East and South to Lorinna and Moina.
Nursing care includes medication assistance, management of chronic and complex wounds, management of venous access devices, indwelling and suprapubic catheter changes, palliative care, post-acute care following discharge from hospital, and medication management.
Mersey-Leven Community Health Nursing and Home Care Service is an integrated team that supports each other and maintains a positive work culture.
The Role: The Registered Nurse – Community:
Provides safe, quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families, and other health professionals.Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all the selection criteria of this position to address in your application.
Details of appointment: Permanent, full time, shift worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight, commencing from January 2025.
*Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Salary: $78,179 to $105,995 per annum.
Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.Access to the Grade 4 salary range is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.In addition, the following allowances may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Salary Packaging: You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses and meal entertainment if eligible.
