Ongoing Full-Time and Part-Time About the Role:The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered or Clinical Nurses to join the Adult Community Mental Health team.The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.Community-based mental health nurses play a vital role in Australia's healthcare system.
With 1 in 5 people experiencing a mental illness in any given year, the demand for mental health support continues to rise.
Various socioeconomic factors, such as access to services, living conditions and employment status, can influence someone's mental health.
This impact is not limited to the individual but extends to their families and caregivers.
As such, a community mental health nurse's role is to provide all affected individuals with the support they need.
Join our Mental Health Community Team at NALHN to make a difference.As a Registered Nurse/Clinical Nurse, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality, person-centred care to adults living with mental illness.
Your role will encompass conducting comprehensive assessments, developing and implementing care plans, providing therapeutic interventions and promoting recovery and wellbeing.To succeed in this role, you must possess exceptional communication skills, a genuine empathy for vulnerable populations and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice.
Proficiency in working collaboratively within a team environment is essential, as you will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals, community services and support networks.To be eligible for this position, you must be registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and hold a current practicing certificate.
