We are looking for an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse to join our Home & Community Team.
You will be providing comprehensive assessment, nursing care and evaluation of care in order to allow clients with more complex health needs to achieve their health care goals and to continue living in their own home.
About the Role Providing direct clinical nursing care to our clients in their homes in line with best practice nursing proceduresThe duties will be varied and will include clinical assessments, dressings, medication assessment and catheter changingDevelop a holistic nursing care plan in collaboration with client, carer, Care Advisor and Allied health where relevantProvide safe, quality nursing practice to clients with specific needs and/or complex needs eg.
Wound care, palliative care, education and supportLiaise with all parties involved in the care of the client to maintain holistic health care and wellbeingEnsure all documentation is accurate and completed in a professional and timely mannerWorking in a safe manner to protect yourself, your colleagues and clients closely following all policies and proceduresTo be successful in this role you'll need A kind heart and genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderlyCurrent AHPRA registration following completion of a Bachelor of Nursing or similarMinimum 3 years post graduate nursing experienceExperience in clinical assessments – PAS & RUDASStrong communication skills and a positive attitudeSound computer skills especially Microsoft Office products and ability to pick up new systemsDrivers license and a reliable vehicleWillingness to apply for a Police Check and NDIS clearanceWhat we can offer you Competitive hourly pay rate and kms reimbursed (96 cents per km)Not-for-profit tax benefits so you pay less taxFitness Passport discounted gym benefitsPaid Parental leaveLong Service leave after 5 years40+ Locations across NSW and QLD if you choose to moveA values-based organisation that welcomes applicants from all faiths and backgroundsWe know you have many choices of employer - choose Catholic Healthcare where you can make a positive impact and be well rewarded.
