Advertising Closes: 18 September 2024 The Opportunity The Senior Executive Assistant provides a range of high-level executive support services to assist the Executive Member (HES1) District Integrated Care Allied Health and Community Services, to deliver the strategic business objectives and operational delivery.
The Senior Executive Assistant is a pivotal role, collaborating across the Directorate team and District to provide high-level support and enable optimised business outcomes.
The Senior Executive Assistant will work across with MNCLHD, representing the Directorate and will handle a high degree of sensitive and confidential information.
The role is based in Port Macquarie working out of the Community Health Centre.
About You We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience and is able to work in high-level executive support role to a Senior Executive within a complex organisation.
You will need to have effective communication skills including sound negotiation, interpersonal and liaison skills along with effective written and numerical skills with an ability to take initiative and proactively identify and manage tasks with a varying range of complexity.

MNCLHD provides a diverse range of services to a population of approximately 215,000 people.
It has a workforce of 4,694 across seven hospital sites and 12 Community Health Centres.
This is a Category B position.

Salary will be accordance with NSW Health State Awards for the advertised classification/s.

A TALENT POOL MAY BE CREATED FOR FUTURE ROLES AND WILL REMAIN VALID FOR 18 MONTHS. Minimum Requirements: Demonstrated experience in providing high level executive support to a Senior Executive within a complex organisation. High level ethics and a demonstrated ability to always maintain superior standards of professional conduct, including a demonstrated capacity to exercise discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information. Solutions mindset and demonstrated ability to take initiative and proactively identify and manage tasks with a varying range of complexity. Excellent written and numerical skills with an ability to accurately prepare, and critically review, any written documents including correspondence, briefs, reports, presentations and submissions. High level communication skills including sound negotiation, interpersonal and liaison skills. Highly developed and demonstrated sound organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to successfully coordinate and manage competing priorities, deliver quality outcomes and meet tight deadlines while using judgement and discretion as needed. Advanced proficiency in using information and communication technology, software programs at an advanced level for word-processing, MS Office, Excel, electronic schedules and emails, internet searching, presentations, payroll, procurement and recruitment including data gathering and preparation of reports.
