We are seeking casual Registered Nurse Assessors/Facilitators to conduct on-site assessments of students in clinical workplaces.
About the Role: A Nurse Assessor you will play a crucial role in evaluating the competencies and skills of nursing students or professionals undergoing training and certification.
Key responsibilities include: Assessment of Skills and Knowledge : Nurse Assessors evaluate the clinical and theoretical knowledge of students or trainees to ensure they meet the required standards of practice.
Developing and Conducting Assessments : Administer, and mark assessments such as written exams, practical tests, and observational assessments.
Providing Feedback and Guidance : Offering constructive feedback to students, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
Identify gaps that may require further training Compliance with Educational Standards : They ensure that all assessments align with the educational standards and regulations set by relevant accrediting bodies.
Essential Requirements: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment 5+ Years as a Registered Nurse Level 3 : Proven experience in the field, with a deep understanding of clinical practice.
Current RN AHPRA Registration : Fully registered with no restrictions or notations Recent National Police Check : Up-to-date clearance within the last 1 years Valid WWCC Fully Vaccinated : Health and safety are your top priorities-fully compliant with vaccination requirements.
This will be an ad hoc casual roster pool you will be part on, to be requested to support as per the clients requirements during periods of assessments Casual AM and PM shifts (7am to 3pm - 1pm to 10pm) Locations will include but not limited to regional hubs like Albury, Dubbo, and Wagga Wagga to coastal towns such as Ballina, Port Macquarie, and Shellharbour.
Key metropolitan centers include Castle Hill, Randwick, and Ultimo, Northern Beaches and St Leonards.
Smaller towns like Cootamundra, Gunnedah, and Taree, with locations like Kingswood, Kogarah, and Meadowbank represent the suburban locations.
