In this role, you will report to the Clinic Manager/Coordinator and will be responsible for leading infection control, managing cold-chain logistics, and delivering high-quality clinical services to our clients.
You'll also be supporting health programs focusing on chronic disease and maternal/child health.
Responsibilities include: Managing infection control measures within the organisationOverseeing cold-chain management for vaccines and medical suppliesAssisting in the implementation of health and education programsProviding clinical services in line with UTHSAC and professional standardsSupervising and training clinic staff and health workersEnsuring patient records are managed confidentially in compliance with Privacy LegislationSupporting occupational health and safety (OHS) initiativesAssisting in maintaining accreditation standards (AGPAL and QIC)About You To qualify, you will need AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and at least 1 year of experience in a relevant role.
Experience working in a community health setting and with Aboriginal communities will be highly regarded.
Additional skills and background that will be valued: Experience in chronic disease management and/or maternal and child healthKnowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander social and health issuesProficiency in patient information systems (e.g., Medical Director, Communicare)Strong communication and leadership skillsAs our ideal candidate, you'll be a culturally sensitive professional with a passion for Indigenous health and the ability to work autonomously.
