Tresillian is currently recruiting for an experienced Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with Child and Family Health (CFH) postgraduate qualifications or working towards a CFH qualification (completed at least two subjects of CFH qualification) to join the team at the Muswellbrook Centre.
This position will involve the provision of quality child and family health services to families caring for children 0-3 years of age within a Tresillian service, achieved by working within the Tresillian Model of Care and the NSW Health Professional Practice Framework for Child and Family Health clinicians (CFH).
The CFH RN/RM will use a strength-based and wellness focus, building on parental confidence and skills through the provision of information, education, resources, guidance, and role modelling safe responsive care. The CFH clinician will utilize evidence-based screening and assessment tools, using family partnership skills to identify health variations or family vulnerabilities, negotiating individual care plans and discharge pathways to meet family goals.
Selection Criteria – Applicants must address the Selection Criteria: Current authority to practice as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).Postgraduate/post registration qualifications in Child and Family Health or evidence of progress with at least two subjects completed.Understanding of, and commitment to, evidence-based practice.Demonstrated experience in attending to the physical, social, and emotional needs of children and their families.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles of population health and primary health care.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the principles and skills of working in partnership within a multidisciplinary team environment.Effective verbal and written communication and negotiation skills, including computer literacy.Current NSW Drivers Licence Class C.What We Offer: Generous salary packaging up to $15,900 per FBT year and Meal & Entertainment on top of this amount.Access to a large range of clinical and non-clinical education programs, including access to study leave.Access to our free and confidential Employee Assistance Program.Access to Fitness Passport for eligible staff.Applicants who currently work within NSW Health or another Affiliated Health Organisation may be able to transfer their service and leave entitlements to Tresillian.This position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the Office of the Children's Guardian.
