Dudley Private - OrangeWollongong PrivateWestmead PrivateAbout the Course This TSP is an introduction for nurses wishing to enter and learn within the Cath Lab environment. This is an opportunity for RN's and EN's to work permanent full time, in a friendly supported team with flexible working hours. Part time hours may be considered, however a minimum of 30 hours per week is required to ensure continuity of learning.
Commencing 6th of May 2024, the program will run over a 6 month period. Course Structure:
You will be supported through a period of orientation and supernumerary time on commencing work within the Cath Lab complex. This includes theoretical study days as well as practical on the job supernumerary timeClinical preceptors are allocated to each participant30 hours of paid study days with expectation of 100% attendanceAssessments includes a quality project and procedural competenciesOngoing employment contract offered upon completion.
Content covered in the TSP includes: 3 weeks S/N in Cath Lab which includes 4 study days of intensive training (1 week supernumeraryintensive training at Westmead or St George Private Hospital then 2 weeks supernumerary in Cath Lab at your chosen hospital).Supported Orientation days focusing on the skills and knowledge required within the Cath Lab environment.About You To be eligible to participate in the program, it is a requirement that you must; Apply for a position of employment at a participating Ramsay hospitalA minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute nursing is essentialPrevious experience within ICU/and or Theatre – desirable but not essentialA strong commitment to high quality careThe ability to work as part of a diverse teamExcellent communication and organisational skillsRemuneration Registered Nurse:$34.43 - $48.33 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. Enrolled Nurse (medication endorsed):$ 30.95 - $33.69 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW EN gr1-thereafter) [FTE $61,157.20 - $66,571.44]
