The role: The Registered Nurse:
Strengthens health outcomes through the provision of safe quality, clinically appropriate nursing care in partnership with patients/clients, their families and other health professionals.The Area: The Transit Lounge is part of the Patient Flow Unit and is an open plan space with recliner chairs, trolley beds and accepts patients who are being admitted, discharging or transferring to another facility.Hours of operation are 0830 to 1800 Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).It is preferable that the successful applicant should have the skills and knowledge to step up into the in-charge role when required.Details of Appointment: Permanent, part time, day worker position working 16 hours per fortnight, commencing from a mutually agreed upon date.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or fixed term full time, part time and casual vacancies. Salary: $76,902 - $102,908 pro rata per annum. Our Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
Access to the Grade 4 salary range $96,558 - $102,908 is subject to successful application for progression to Grade 4.In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type.Salary range is in accordance with Nurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement 2023.Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
