About the Role:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Registered Nurse in our Acute Medical Unit with cardiac telemetry and Medical Assessment Unit (MAU). Ward 4C is a 36-bed ward consisting of 10 dedicated beds for MAU and 26 general medical beds. The successful candidate will work within a supportive, dynamic team of dedicated nurses and a multidisciplinary team, providing quality, evidence-based care.
As an experienced Nurse, you will bring to our team:
• Registered Nurse with AHPRA
• Bachelor of Science (Nursing) or equivalent
• Minimum 1 to 2 years in an acute hospital setting experience is essential
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, proactive, motivated, and customer-focused
• Clinical expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care and continuous improvement
• Self-motivated and proven ability to work as part of a high-functioning team
• Passion for delivering quality patient-centred care
We offer flexibility with shift allocations and the commitment to work a rotating roster, including 12-hour shifts in a state-of-the-art working environment utilizing EMR (electronic medical records) and MEDCHART (medication management/administration) systems.
