Registered Mine Manager

Globe 24-7, in partnership with our client - a leading Global Tier 1 mining company - has an opportunity for the Registered Mine Manager to join a large mining operation based overseas. This is an expat FIFO role from any global point of hire; and is a role that has high level visibility at the executive level.The RoleThe primary purpose of the Registered Mine Manager is to ensure the smooth running of all departments of a large operation.The operation is a multi-billion dollar endeavour, and is currently at the construction phase.The successful candidate will have the rare opportunity to shape and guide some of the construction effort, to ensure best practice for operational readiness.Furthermore, the Mine Manager is part of the ongoing operational succession planning for the GM role, in the short to medium term; so a real opportunity to step up, and on an operation that will be globally renowned.The RequirementsThe successful candidate will have a tertiary qualified, technical, mining engineering background, and may have held a previous statutory role on another sizable operation.We are seeking strong open pit experience, although some underground experience also may be beneficial.Candidates with somewhere in the order of twenty to twenty-five years' career experience are sought; and it is important you are able to commit to rotational work of 6/3 (weeks), or possibly 4/2 (weeks).The RewardsWork with a world-class, Tier 1 organisation.Shape the initial construction effort for best operational readiness.Step up opportunity to the GM role.Strong salary and bonus structure.Real opportunities for global growth, on multiple global operations, and/or corporate opportunity.Contact UsPlease apply directly by submitting your resume.
