Opportunity to work in a dynamic Post-Natal ward with a dedicated team of midwives, obstetricians and neonatologists. Work to Suit you! We are looking for Full-time and Part-time Registered Midwives to join our team.
With an amazing team of highly trained neonatal nurses and midwives providing world-class maternity care, Prince of Wales Private is the next step in your career!
If your passion is working in the birth suite, we have roles that can support your passion, development, and work-life balance! You will also work across the Birth Unit and Special Care Nursery on a rotational basis as required.
We have a dedicated maternity educator that will support your upskilling and will bring you a great introduction to the unit.

Your responsibilities will include: Delivering evidence-based midwifery care and providing exceptional patient experience to women and their families.Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team.Ensuring patient and staff safety.Supervising, directing, and guiding midwifery/nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to deliver patient care.Delivering education and support to mothers and their families.Minimum Requirements: Current Midwifery Registration with AHPRA.Current NSW Working with Children Check.Proven Experience in a similar role.Special Care Nursery experience advantageous.Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Works well independently and within a team.Compliance with NSW Health Policy PD2020_017 Occupational Screening, Assessment & Vaccination against Specified Infectious Diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.Basic computer skills.Why Healthscope? If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF – NSW Nurses and Midwives' – Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 – $49.79 per hour.
