The Role An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Registered Midwife to join our team on a full-time/part-time basis. We are looking for an expert midwife who is committed to excellence, has extensive skills in post-partum care, as well as a passion for the delivery of woman-centred care.
To succeed in the role as a Registered Midwife, you will need to bring a genuine interest in caring for women and their families through the various stages of pregnancy, childbirth, and postnatal care. You will be an experienced midwife with excellent communication skills and enjoy working in an inclusive and vibrant environment that values and supports our diverse families.
The Department Our Women's Health Unit is a 43-bed post/antenatal/gynaecology ward with 7 birthing suite rooms. Supporting this service is a 7-bed level 2 Special Care Nursery.

If you are successful in the role, you will receive a salary based on your years of relevant registered nursing experience against the current Healthscope and NSWNMA/ANMF - NSW Nurses and Midwives' - Enterprise Agreement 2020-2024, a salary ranging from $35.46 - $49.79 per hour. More Information: Our commitment to quality and safety for our patients, staff and visitors is our highest priority. Applicants will be required to provide a current National Police check, WWCC (where applicable) and Evidence of right to work in Australia prior to appointment. Staff in patient contact roles will be required to provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases as a Category A Healthcare worker.
