This position is based in the Simpson Unit, a surgical ward specialising in ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery, with a short-stay paediatric case mix.
Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to surgical and paediatric patients across ENT, Plastics, Gynaecology, General Surgery, and Neurosurgery specialties.Conduct assessments, administer medications, and monitor pre- and post-operative recovery.Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver optimal patient outcomes.Educate and support patients and families on treatments, procedures, and recovery plans.Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control protocols.What you bring Surgical and Paediatric experience would be favourable but not necessaryAHPRA RegistrationDemonstrated recent clinical experience in an acute care and/or hospital settingAbility to work unsupervised, proficiently and in an organised manner during periods of high demand and activityDemonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary teamDemonstrated communication, interpersonal skills and customer service skillsA desire to join a team committed to the care of others in a mission based organisationWhy work for Calvary?
