If you're looking for an exciting opportunity to make an impact and support a passionate team, this is the role for you!Great Barrier Reef and Marine Parks (GBR&MP) Region are excited to share an incredible opportunity for a Regional Support Officer to join the team on a temporary basis, through to 27 June 2025.As one of the six regions of the Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service, the GBR&MP Region delivers conservation and management activities across land and sea including implementing the Reef Joint Field Management Program.This pivotal role will play a critical part in the strategic management of the Great Barrier Reef and Marine Parks Region (GBR&MP), leading and overseeing a team that delivers essential Business Support services to the region.You will provide executive-level support to the Regional Director and manage a wide range of high-impact functions, including complex budget and financial oversight, procurement, workforce management, safety and training, facilities, resources, records, and correspondence management.
Additionally, you will implement key administrative processes to ensure seamless operations across the region.
