In this role, you will shape, develop, evolve, and articulate a compelling, focused strategic direction that increases the value of CHEP to customers and investors and for our employees.This role will preferably be based in Australia and reports directly to the CFO, AMETA. Significant travel will at times be required. We offer flexible/hybrid working. Key accountabilities will include:Align the priority focus areas for the business across short-, medium- and long-term time horizonsShape strategy around Company investment, both organically and inorganicallyCollaborate with senior leadership to define their strategic plans and ensure effective execution across countries/regionsCollaborate with the regional strategy leads to contribute to the Group strategy. Utilize your expertise to develop frameworks and processes that will enable implementation rapidly and effectively across functional, regional, and country levelsRaise the business' sights to ensure we remain focused and accountable for delivering longer term goals as well as short term imperativesIdentify global, regional, and local internal and external trends and developments and articulate how these should inform and direct changes to strategic prioritiesRun strategy programs and projects to assess new opportunities or identify solutions to potential threatsPrepare execution objectives, plans, and metrics; prepare presentation material, socialize it with key stakeholders, and present to senior leadership.We value innovation, collaboration, and curiosity, and we are looking for someone who shares these values and can lead the strategy process across the region.What Will Ensure Your Success:Extensive experience across strategy roles in large global organisations.
