About the OpportunityWe have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Regional Property Manager.
In this role, you will proactively manage a lease portfolio of head leases and sub leases, across our industrial, retail and commercial sites.
This role will manage leases across WA, SA, NT and Victoria region.In this Role• Ensure compliance of all contractual obligations, including payments, critical dates, rent reviews.• Optimise net income performance by implementing cost management strategies.• Manage lease renewals and market rent reviews.• Develop and manage multiple internal and external stakeholder relationships, and leveraging existing networking contacts.• Identify and communicate competition activity to relevant steering committees.• Ensure lease documents are completed in line with business precedents and commercial guardrails.You're Likely a Match If• Minimum 5 years property management experience, with experience in commercial, industrial or retail leases highly regarded.• Effective stakeholder and relationship management skills.• Strong skills in general lease interpretation.• Excellent communication, influencing and negotiation skills.• Results focused approach with strong commercial acumen.• Qualifications in Property, Estate Management or related discipline.• Knowledge of Retail Leases Act.Life at MetcashExperience a supportive and flexible work environment.
