The Role
We are looking for a Regional Project Supply Specialist. This is a temporary full-time position until December 2024, with the possibility to be extended until 2025. The role will be based in Brisbane CBD.
As a Regional Project Supply Specialist, you will plan and manage procurement activities for capital projects, ensuring alignment with our Supply Chain strategies and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop procurement strategies and plans for expansion, replacement, and ongoing projects. Align procurement strategies with Group and Business Units. Engage with senior stakeholders to understand and manage project budgets. Participate in project review meetings and tender evaluations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and market experts to generate procurement ideas. Collect and analyze data to support strategic sourcing and identify risks and opportunities. Assist in sourcing, tendering, and negotiation for project procurement. Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and governance processes. The Candidate Bachelor's degree in a relevant field Or Postgraduate degree in a commercial-related field. Experience in project supply management. Strong problem-solving skills and successful project delivery track record. Proficiency in English (Spanish is a plus). Knowledge in sourcing, contracts management, supplier management, market research, and negotiation. Understanding of project management principles. Advanced understanding and application to medium projects. Ability to plan and implement engagement and communication plans. Regional travel and collaboration across time zones. To Apply
