What you'll contribute to: An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated and innovative Regional Project Manager to join our Property, Planning and Projects team based in our Townsville Management Office. Reporting directly to our General Manager Projects, this position will assist in delivering multidisciplinary projects and assume responsibility for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of capital works projects, ensuring alignment with the Corporate Vision, Mission, and Strategic Direction. The ideal candidate will have client-side Project Management experience across both built form and civil works and will support the General Manager Projects in planning future capital works to ensure the requirements for the future airport growth are achieved. The position requires regular travel between all four of our ports. How will you make an impact? We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic team member who shares the team's commitment to innovative and high-quality services. You will have at least 3 years in project management, a solid knowledge of contractor management compliance and relevant statutory regulations, and a strong understanding of Project Management from inception to delivery and close out. Experience within airport environments and/or building services is desirable. Key deliverables/responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provide technical assistance in developing project Business Cases with the Project Owner, outlining the project's functional needs and deliverables. Guide projects through the planning phase, focusing on definition, feasibility, cost programming, operational impacts and risk. Assist in identifying and planning new capital works projects to support airport precinct growth. Support consultants in developing technical design briefs and concepts to ensure appropriate project scope. Implement and manage project resources for tendering and contract administration in accordance with QAL procurement policies and procedures. Manage and oversee the delivery of both minor and major capital works projects. Establish and maintain effective communication with the Airport stakeholders and management team. What we offer you?
