The Role Due to strong growth, the company is in need of a dynamic Regional Procurement Manager for the APAC region. This role is responsible for leading the Regional Asia Pacific Procurement team, working with key stakeholders & delivering a procurement strategy that directly contributes towards achieving the Asia Pacific business objectives.
Key Responsibilities Review contracts for opportunities across the Asia Pacific region to increase value, reduce costs and identify areas for improvement. Manage sourcing activities as directed & identify procurement opportunities within the business. Analyse business supply needs and ensure effective alignment with the Company's operational strategy. Provide highly responsive procurement support to internal departments. Manage stock replenishment in accordance with planning outputs and procurement agreements. Establish effective communications & partnership-based relationships with suppliers. Provide mentoring, coaching, guidance, and leadership for team members. Proactively demonstrate safe working practices & oversee a culture of compliance with WHS requirements. About You The successful candidate will be an outstanding communicator who proactively manages information flow across relevant stakeholders for the business.
You will bring resourcefulness, strong negotiation skills & excellent leadership skills to support a growing team.
What you will bring to the role: 5+ years of demonstrated procurement / senior purchasing experience. Experience in optimising spend, driving efficiencies, minimising compliance risks and implementing controls. Experience in the Industrial / Capital Equipment industry will be highly regarded. Proven history in the ability to build relationships with employees, colleagues, and customers. Exceptional communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
