Job Description Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Regional Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all staff and operations within the AIM QLD operations. This includes technical, administrative, and other personnel. Key responsibilities involve developing and executing customer strategies for business expansion, managing key accounts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery. The role also emphasises operational excellence by supporting the technical team both locally and remotely.
Represent the company professionally and liaise directly with clients.Increase market share in Non-Destructive and Mechanical Testing Services.Manage and direct all QLD staff.Plan personnel and resources for NDT and Mechanical testing activities.Ensure NATA and quality functions are maintained and liaise with customer QC and production personnel.Promote and ensure good Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) practices.Implement the AIS OHS Management System and ensure staff are trained and competent.Develop and improve OHS and Environmental policies and procedures.Implement pollution prevention strategies and emergency preparedness plans.Support the technical team to deliver exceptional results.The Successful Applicant To be considered for this role, you must have direct industry experience and a strong technical background in assurance and inspection services. Your expertise should encompass both commercial and operational aspects, with a proven ability to develop and execute targeted customer expansion strategies. You should be highly driven by working with people, offering solutions, and capitalising on new opportunities for growth.
