We currently operate 30 stores nationally with two already opened and another 5 on target for the remainder of the year.
Our operations also include warehousing, engineering (R&D), customer care centre and commercial sales along with our corporate support functions.
With the support of a highly motivated national retail leadership team, this is a newly created management role intended to support mission critical sales and operations priorities across your region's stores network.
Noting that we have invested heavily from management resourcing perspective to drive and support growth through optimising store performance with the appointment of new regional sales, operations and compliance roles.
Your core accountabilities and responsibilities
In collaboration with the National Retail Manager and your respective Regional Sales Manager, ensure that stores are effectively prepared to deliver on key operations KPIs whilst consistently driving optimal productivity through seasonal peaks and troughs.
Coach for success in building capability of your leaders across the stores network that is team centric, mature, emotionally intelligent and commercial that enables consistent delivery on KPIs, targets and outcomes required.
Provide thought leadership in terms of proposals and plans to drive further growth and profitability for your region.
Lead and establish a compliance culture aligned to achieving KPIs associated with customer advocacy benchmarks, warranty claims processing, Click & Collect performance, stock integrity against loss benchmarks including store standards and operations audits.
Lead, drive and influence the team in a hands on style to deliver memorable customer experiences by building their confidence, skills and knowledge through consistent learning and training on site.
Actively identify local business opportunities to attract new customers while maximising visual merchandising and social media that leads to a regular increase in foot traffic to augment sales and increase profitability.
In collaboration with the National WHS Manager, ensure that the company's safety framework, policies, procedures, standards, and activities in the store including bi-annual audits are adhered to from a risk, compliance, and best practice perspective.
Your qualities, skills and experience
Previous leadership experience in a similar role within the Outdoor, Lifestyle or Retail industry is highly advantageous.
Excellent interpersonal skills, highly emotionally intelligent and resilient as an effective relationship manager.
Significant problem solving skills with sound judgement balanced with commercial nous and acumen.
Significant influencing and coaching skills to build and drive leadership and team capability.
Proven operations and project management knowledge, skills and experience.
Highly self-motivated, proactive and inspirational leader with a successful track record in driving discretionary effort at a store and management team level.
Ability to drive effective stakeholder relationships.
Proven ability to drive reporting through data and analytics to support actionable insights, planning, proposals and recommendations to drive growth and profitability.
