Our client is seeking someone with experience in crash repairs or spray painting with management and production experience.
This is a very busy and modern workshop environment which runs well and is well respected.
The role:Lead and manage the production daily and benchmarksLead efficiencies and maintain standards and expectationsPlan and organise the workshop/centre to minimise riskEnsure high standards of WHS and complianceCommunicate across all parts of the business including to the MD for relevant issuesThe ideal person:3 years+ production or workshop supervision experienceExperience in smash repair shop/spray painting operations including the planning, scheduling and repair processesExperience managing others - performance management and accountabilityCommitment to WHS including a neat and tidy workspaceCan perform root cause analysis and understands continuous improvement processExcellent time management skills for this busy, modern workshopExcellent communication skills across all levels and with various culturesAn eye for detail and high quality standardsCurrent NSW drivers licenceCertificate or Diploma in Management; related to Production Management or LEAN methodologies or equivalentDesirable:Qualified trade in Spray Painting or Panel BeatingEvidence of maintaining or upgrading professional knowledge through education or training.This is a great company with very modern facilities who are constantly busy and growing.
