Regional Academy of Sport Ltd is the parent company to four Regional Academies of Sport: North Coast, Central Coast, the Hunter, and Southern.
We currently require a Regional Manager for our Southern Region, based in Wagga Wagga, to work in a full-time position.
Southern Sports Academy is one of the largest regions operating in the Regional Academy of Sport network, overseeing pathway programs for hundreds of talented young sportspeople participating in various sporting codes.

This position is central to shaping the future of regional sports, overseeing operations, and nurturing a dynamic team that delivers vital programs to athletes and communities across the Southern region.
Reporting to the COO and working with senior leadership, you'll play a critical role in the financial and operational success of regional programs, build strategic partnerships, and engage with key stakeholders.

The successful candidate is required to provide management of the region, including program operations and administrative support to the organization.
Key responsibilities shall include: The development and operations of all Regional Academies of Sport Pathway Development Programs.Working with the Executive Leadership Team, other Regional Academies of Sport, as well as State and National Sporting Bodies in providing relevant pathways and recognized programs.Working with your regional programs team, maintenance, and the creation of the calendar for each individual sport program in partnership with coaches, coordinators, and where relevant, the regional sporting bodies and facilities.Liaise with coordinators regarding all operational requirements of each program.Be responsible for the operation of the sports consultants and relevant specialists for each program.Child Protection and First Aid requirements for all staff and volunteers.Up-to-date, clear and concise communication with coordinators, coaches, consultants, and squad members through the website, newsletters, and social media.To be successful in this role you will need: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.Strong interest in sport.Proven experience in regional management, operations, or a similar role.Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management.Excellent leadership and team management skills.High interest and demonstrated experience in a stakeholder communications role with some experience in online multimedia technologies.Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze data and provide strategic insights.Proficiency in relevant software and tools.A strong desire to keep pushing the boundaries, innovating, and driving the development of the field of strength and conditioning.An awareness of the essential need to be a 'Child Safe' sporting organization.If you think you have the skills and temperament for this position, please submit your resume and a cover letter addressing the position requirements and any other relevant information as indicated in the position description.
