The Role: Our Far North Queensland region of our Lindsay Rural entity is looking for a new Regional Manager.
The Regional Manager is responsible for leading and managing the FNQ region through establishing sales strategies for the region, and ensuring they are executed at a Branch level.
This opportunity will see you manage a team of Branch Managers across 4 different branches – Mareeba, Innisfail, Atherton & Tully.
We are open to chatting to candidates who have a home base in or around one of these branches or a commutable distance away.
Key accountabilities include but are not limited to: Demonstrate visible safety leadership and ensure all branches are adhering to our SOPs.Develop and drive sales strategies to grow the business across the region.Take end-to-end ownership of the P&L for branches within your region, closely monitoring sales, expenses, and profitability to meet regional sale objectives.Lead, encourage, and motivate your team of Branch Managers to achieve exceptional sales results, ensuring it aligns with the broader business strategy and delivers on key objectives.Manage, support, and grow the compatibility of their People (resource planning, retention, turnover, performance management, mentorship/development).Demonstrate behaviours that support the Values of the business.Continuous improvement and evaluation of cost-effective options and methods of operation.Be present, be a Leader of Leaders; have an in-depth knowledge of industry, market, and what each branch is involved in.About You: To succeed in this role, we anticipate you will be able to demonstrate:
Seasoned senior leadership experience with a background in retail or within the rural environment/industry.Demonstrated success in delivering positive financial results including the achievement of increased sales and cost management of regions.Multi-site experience is essential including management of diverse teams.Demonstrated ability to continuously improve the culture and lead change.A highly motivated, enthusiastic, and positive leadership style.Exceptional customer service & interpersonal skills.Technical and/or sales expertise.High level reasoning, problem solving, and planning skills.Ability to manage your own time, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for your output and the quality of your work.Knowledge & understanding of products, seasonal timing, and general requirements of rural producers within the area advantageous but not essential.
