In this role, you'll: Be a part of our Local Government South Region team in Community & Place as a Regional Local Government Project Officer. You will be responsible for providing effective, efficient and timely project-related administrative control to the Manager and Coordinator. You will also support the local government unit within the region and be responsible for administering funding and other grant processes related to councils. This role can be filled through remote working and can be based anywhere in the southern region of the state. You may be required to attend a few face-to-face meetings at the offices in Wollongong or Wagga Wagga within the LG South region. This is a fixed term full-time role (up to 30 June 2025) located at Wagga Wagga. About you: To be successful in this role you will have experience in project management and business improvement processes and activities. In this role you will largely be working autonomously; therefore, it is important that you can manage your workload effectively and support other team members when needed. You will need to work collaboratively and use your excellent communication and interpersonal skills to proactively build strong relationships with all stakeholders. You're proactive and use your initiative and attention to detail to get things done and resolve issues independently. You have experience working in teams to tight deadlines and have a successful track record in delivering great customer experience outcomes.
