Position In this role, reporting to the Group Accounting Manager, you will lead a dedicated team of Senior Financial Accountants.
You will oversee the full spectrum of accounting activities for all entities within our LATAM region, which spans across five regional hubs.
As the primary finance contact for these entities, you will collaborate closely with business leaders, auditors, and local advisors to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
A key part of the role will involve analysing and communicating the key drivers behind business performance, helping to identify opportunities for improvement.
You will also play a central role in the budgeting and re-forecasting processes, providing valuable insights that align financial plans with business strategy.
Additionally, you will work alongside other Regional and Corporate Accounting Managers to manage and support Group-level accounting initiatives, contributing to the overall efficiency and alignment of financial operations across the organisation.
Profile The ideal candidate will have; Strong technical accounting expertise, backed by a relevant professional qualification (e.g., Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent) or qualified by experience Proven experience in month-end closing activities and leading a financial reporting team Strong leadership skills Comprehensive understanding of complex local regulations (tax, payroll, accounting) Excellent communication skills, fluent in Spanish - engages and influences at all levels across the business A continuous improvement and inquisitive mindset Excellent Attention to detail, able to identify control deficiencies Apply To learn more, please contact Deborah Swaine on 0477 977 988 or apply online at www.moirgroup.com.au.
