Fonterra is on the lookout for a dynamic and results-driven individual to join our team as a Regional Account Manager.
As a Regional Account Manager at Fonterra, you will be the orchestrator of success, responsible for delivering budgeted targets within your allocated territory and uncovering lucrative opportunities within our vast network of end users (cafes, restaurants etc) and distributors in the Newcastle and Central Coast region, to deliver budgeted volume targets.
Reporting to the AU Sales Manager North, you'll have the chance to enhance and expand our strategic partnerships within the NSW Foodservice Distributor network, ensuring the ongoing triumph of Fonterra Australia.
This role is the canvas for your creativity – create and implement sales plans that not only meet but exceed targets, providing Fonterra with profitable growth opportunities.
You will also: Build rapport and relationships quickly to turn cold call into order.
Prepare robust territory plans.
Follow selling processes and ensure each sales call is pre-planned.
Participate in Trade Shows.
Detail and leverage specific sales and marketing promotional activities.
Develop strong and lasting business relationships with key decision makers.
Management of selected distributor customers.
This 18-month contract opportunity will see you embrace a hybrid work model, with our Macquarie Park office as your base and the flexibility to work from home.

About You As an experienced sales professional, you are ambitious to succeed, thrive on challenges, and continuously seek to make a real impact.
You will also have: Previous experience in Foodservice, FMCG, or a large company background.
1-5 years of selling and negotiation experience.
Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Customer-centric mindset with strengths in problem-solving and strategic thinking.
