About the role The School of Law is seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Administration Officer.
We are dedicated to excellence and innovation in teaching, research, and community engagement, with a strong focus on Public and Constitutional Law, Human Rights, and Social Justice issues.
Our leading clinical program, the WSU Justice Clinic, is central to our mission.
We offer a range of programs including LLB, JD, combined LLB undergraduate degrees, and an LLM degree, taught at our Parramatta and Campbelltown campuses.
With approximately 1,800 EFTSL, our student body is diverse and engaged.
The WSU Justice Clinic serves as our community legal service and internal student legal service, driving impactful community-driven research, quality legal education, and community service.
The Administration Officer will provide high-level administrative support to the WSU Justice Clinic, reporting directly to the Director & Principal Solicitor.
This role is pivotal as the central point of contact for clients, partners, colleagues, and students involved in the Clinic's programs.
You will collaborate with professional and academic staff across various schools and units, contributing to engagement activities.
Key responsibilities include coordinating and administering all aspects of experiential learning subjects, providing extensive administrative support and coordination for placements and internships, managing records, and liaising with students and host organisations.
You will build and manage internal and external relationships to support the growth of the experiential learning program and deliver positive outcomes for students, industry, and the broader community in line with the WSU Justice Clinic Strategic Plan 2025-2027.
