Why Your Role Matters
The Business Administrative Assistant role is an important member of the School's Professional team. The role reports to the Business Administrative Officer and works in collaboration with other professional staff to ensure efficient operation of the School by providing administrative support across the School.
A key remit of the role involves supporting the casual contracting function for the School to ensure the adequate provision of resources for future teaching sessions. The role is also responsible for supporting various business operations of the School, including (but not limited to) procurement and purchasing, asset and inventory management, and financial administration (Basware and TEMS).
About You
We are seeking a highly motivated and driven individual who possesses a tertiary qualification or equivalent professional administrative training and experience. The successful candidate will possess a high level of computer literacy, with proven experience in word processing, spreadsheet management, and database management using software packages such as Microsoft Office. You will have well-developed interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills enabling you to liaise effectively with management, staff, and external agencies, and establish effective working professional relationships. You will possess the ability to monitor workflows and meet deadlines. Additionally, you have demonstrated organisational, time management, and administrative skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Applicants should be aware that this role will be based at Parramatta City campus; however, as Western Sydney University is a multi-campus university, travel to other campuses may be required when operational needs arise.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 4 $89,947 to $95,760 p.a. (comprising Salary of $76,006 to $80,918 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
