About the Role:
Reporting to: Chief Commercial Officer, Oceania

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Work Location: Melbourne

As Reefer Care Manager Oceania, you will strategize the Commercial Reefer Development Plan by assisting in increasing market share, turnover, and customer service. It involves identifying new market opportunities for the Group, assisting Outside Sales with key customers, and promoting CMA CGM Reefer Group Services and VAS products. Additionally, the role will provide reefer expertise to support M&R escalation issues within the Group network.

The position requires regional travel, including occasional weekend travel, as necessary.

The role and responsibilities will include:

Identify and drive growth for high value and Special reefer commodities that requires special temperature treatment/technologies.
Lead the Cold Treatment Programs out of Australia, part of Global Cold Treatment VAS.
Provide advice and support to customers, as well as to local and regional sales departments.
Provide and manage special trainings dedicated to the reefer internal and external network on the different technical issues which may arise and keep tuned on the new technologies of the market.
Supervise Reefer VAS products and communicate with VAS champion to optimize the sales.
Target new Customers, promoting specific Refrigerated containers services and technologies.
Organizing Post Harvest initiatives and act to drive acceptance by customers in adopting leading technologies and suitable Protocols.

To be successful in this role, you will need:
Holding a University Degree with preferably a specialisation in maritime field, and a minimum 5-year experience in the Reefer Machinery handling and/or Operations/Marketing.
Exhibit strong negotiating & influencing skills, recognised for leadership, with a strategic mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Demonstrate excellent communication skills.
A basic background in engineering or trade, particularly in mechanical, electrical, or refrigeration areas, is desirable.
High level of computer literacy, especially with advanced Excel, data collection, compilation, and financial reporting.
