Redevelopment Communications and Engagement Lead (Health Mgr Lvl 3) - Temp FTSouth Western Sydney Local Health District – Warwick Farm NSWEmployment Type: Temporary Full Time, 38 hours per week until November 2027Location: Eastern Campus - Liverpool Hospital (Primary location), Bankstown and Fairfield HospitalsPosition Classification: Health Manager (Level 3)Remuneration: $2,354.41 - $2,674.64 per weekAbout the OpportunityWith two major hospital redevelopment projects commencing, this is an exciting opportunity to lead communications and engagement activity from the start.You will be joining the District Strategic Communications & Media team, where you will lead the development of a comprehensive communications and engagement strategy for the diverse south western Sydney communities and workforce.As Redevelopment Communications & Engagement Lead, you will be working within a complex stakeholder environment, understand media and State Government landscapes, deliver a range of written and digital content and be expert in engaging community in large-scale infrastructure projects.Working closely with South Western Sydney Local Health District Leaders, Health Infrastructure, project teams and consumer representatives, you will create opportunities for staff and community to engage with and provide input into these major hospital redevelopments.What You'll be DoingThe Redevelopment Communications & Engagement Lead is responsible for leading communications across a number of significant hospital redevelopment projects in south west Sydney. The role requires someone to navigate complex stakeholder environments to provide cohesion between the Health District, Hospitals, Project Teams and Health Infrastructure and the communities served by the networked health services. The role spans external and internal communication initiatives including community and staff engagement activities, proactive and reactive media opportunities, events, newsletters and digital media.How to ApplyTo be considered for this position, please ensure you address the below questions as thoroughly as possible:Appropriate qualifications and/or extensive experience in media, communications, public relations or government relations.Describe a scenario where a project you were working on had high levels of community/media/political interest. Outline the steps you took to manage the situation.Describe your experience undertaking community engagement with hard-to-reach communities (e.g. CALD, low socioeconomic). What tactics would you consider employing to reach such communities?Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment.
