Illawarra Metallurgical Coal (IMC) produces premium quality, hard coking coal for steelmaking, which is transported within Australia and around the world.
We operate two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.

ABOUT THE ROLE This role is a Permanent full-time position based at the GM3 office in the Brisbane CBD.
As the Recruitment Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and implementing the new GM³ recruitment processes.
Post implementation, you will shape and elevate the GM³ recruitment strategy, ensuring we attract top talent when we need it most.
The role will involve developing, maintaining, and continuously enhancing recruitment practices and governance, as well as building impactful relationships with HR teams and the wider business to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results.
Other key responsibilities include, but aren't limited to: Provide expertise and advice to the business relating to proactive recruitment strategies. Partner with key stakeholders to provide strategic advice relating to recruitment and talent acquisition opportunities and best practice. Represent GM³ at relevant industry and recruitment events, including travel to regional assets where necessary. Align resourcing activity to the Workforce Plan and Talent Management recommendations to match talent to critical work. ABOUT YOU You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:
Demonstrated experience partnering with senior leaders to translate business strategies into people strategy/action. Experience working in a similar role, preferably within the Mining industry. Dynamic, strategic thinker with a strong drive for results and delivery. Skilled at juggling competing priorities while keeping a customer-first approach. Qualifications for this position are:
