We handle more than 11 million tonnes of bulk cargo per annum and maintain more than 130,000 square metres of warehousing space nationally.The OpportunityLINX Port Services are currently seeking a Recruitment Partner to join the Port Services People Team. Reporting to the Senior HR/IR Business Partner, you will also be party to the deliverables of the HR and IR Team and support onboarding and HR Administration.As the Recruitment Partner, your primary focus is to facilitate the end-to-end recruitment process for the LINX Port Services leaders and stakeholders to ensure they meet their resourcing needs. In addition to the recruitment process, you will continue your recruitment success by supporting our new Team Member during their onboarding. Your experience and welcoming positivity will see you being a key contributor in the employee lifecycle.Bringing a flexible, agile, and confident persona, underpinned by a considered and diverse approach, will set you up for success. As you will be required to manage the delivery of recruitment and support the HR admin deliverables for our 14 Port locations across Australia, delivering on a broad range of roles and levels across the business.This role offers the unique opportunity as the standalone recruitment function within LINX Port Services to make the function your own and be supported by the dynamic and fun People Team. Working closely with the HCM System Managers, you will have the opportunity to develop, streamline, evolve and own the recruitment and onboarding function for the business.About the PositionThe Recruitment Partner will be responsible for but not limited to the below:Partnering with stakeholders to provide effective recruitment solutions tailored to the unique objectives and requirements.Providing onboarding support.Managing a wide range of recruitment activities across the business, including professional services and front-line blue-collar roles.Managing Pre-employment compliance including booking medicals, police clearances and maintaining employee folders for new employees.Monitoring candidates (successful and unsuccessful) and hiring managers' satisfaction.Implementing initiatives to continuously improve the overall recruitment and onboarding function.Managing the creation and issuing of employee documents including contracts.Supporting the development and implementation of employee lifecycle and programs of retention and attrition.About Your ExperienceProven experience partnering with a range of stakeholders across several different locations to support the recruitment of a broad range of role types including blue collar and professional services.Previous experience recruiting large Blue Collar workforces preferably within a Ports or logistics environment.Experience coaching leaders in the appropriate recruitment and selection strategies and processes.Experience delivering and overseeing end-to-end recruitment activities including effective role briefings, preparation of recruitment plan and strategy, interviewing, selection and offers.Proven experience in onboarding processes ideally in a Port or logistics environment.Proven track record in delivering effective recruitment strategies and plans that achieve business objectives, following processes and robust ways of working mitigating risk and attrition.Understanding of contemporary and innovative sourcing practices including online channels and social media, direct sourcing, reverse marketing and talent pipeline development.Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced high-pressure environment.Ability to work to strict deadlines with excellent time management skills.Experience in planning, problem-solving and reporting.Strong focus on safety and ability to uphold LINX's high safety standards and compliance.Ability to pass a Pre-employment medical including a drug and alcohol screen.The BenefitsAttractive remuneration packageShort-term incentive bonusFull-time positionGreat workplace cultureSupportive teamOnsite parkingEmployee Assistance and Wellbeing ProgramWorking for us will put you in a strategic position with your career, with opportunities for growth and development along with financial and non-financial benefits.We're looking for people who share and live our values of BE BRAVE, BE BOLD, WE ARE ONE, HOME SAFELY EVERY DAY, ACT LIKE YOU OWN IT & POWERED BY PEOPLE.Our culture embraces diversity across our workforce and we encourage everyone to apply.Closing DateApplications close on 11/11/2024.
