The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive and energetic Recruitment Officer to join our People and Culture team on a 6 to 12 month fixed-term contract . Based in Harvey, WA, this exciting opportunity allows you to play a pivotal role in shaping Harvey Beef's workforce by supporting our recruitment efforts across a fast-paced, blue-collar environment.
As part of a small, dynamic team, you will assist the People and Culture Manager in managing the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring we attract top talent to drive the continued success of our business. The Role Alongside current recruitment officers ensure all end-to-end recruitment needs are met at the Harvey Beef site for production employees. Daily review of all applicants from advertising platforms and reporting of progress Conduct job interviews and reference checks to ensure candidates' skills and qualifications match the job requirements. Ensure all onboarding and offboarding requirements are met, including checking work rights, booking pre-employment medicals and preparing for inductions. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of labour legislation, implementing required changes to keep company recruitment processes compliant. Act as a single point of contact for managers regarding recruitment topics Participate in job fairs and career events Develop and maintain advertising and new opportunities to recruit talent across the business Our Ideal Candidate Will Have: Exposure to high-volume recruitment is highly desirable, especially in fast-paced environments. Excellent attention to detail and can efficiently manage the entire hiring process from start to finish. Quick-thinking, enthusiastic, and ready to take on challenges in a dynamic workplace. Skilled at finding candidates across a variety of platforms and resources, ensuring a steady flow of talent. A broad understanding of HR functions and how they tie into recruitment. A keen ability to ensure staffing needs are always met, keeping recruitment processes streamlined and effective. Proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite and are comfortable working with recruitment tools.
