Work Arrangement - Hybrid
Hourly Rates - $36/hour

Your new role

Undertake the day-to-day operations of the Information Management unit in accordance with policies and procedures. Responsible for the creation, storage, and retrieval of physical and electronic records to ensure the accurate, timely and effective management of the Council's records and information.

Accountabilities Undertake daily mail processing of incoming correspondence including scanning and registering documents to the appropriate files in the Council's electronic document records management system (EDRMS).Accurately action and distribute correspondence to staff in a timely manner.Classify and capture information in accordance with recordkeeping requirements and the Council's policies and procedures.Retrieval of records requests and returns to and from storage.What you'll need to succeedPost-secondary qualifications or a few years' experience in a records management or related role.Experience using TRIM/RM8/CM9 in a similar role.Experience working in a customer focused role dealing with many customer enquiries simultaneously.Demonstrated experience in public records classification, and the application of retention and disposal authorities.Effective time management skills to prioritise your own tasks and deliver agreed actions.Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to achieve shared responsibilities and workload support.Very good attention to detail.What you need to do now
