Record To Report (R2R) Technology Lead

EMEA Recruitment is exclusively working with a well-established international company, with a great brand reputation. We are searching for a Record to Report (R2R) Technology Lead to join the corporate team in Cracow, working on a hybrid basis (remote position + 30% of travelling).
In this role, you'll be responsible for digitalizing our R2R processes, taking ownership of the technical design of process solutions, ensuring seamless integration with related processes. Responsibilities: Working closely with Finance and Accounting Operations (FAO) key users to keep operations teams informed and processes current for solution maintenance. Leading IT change control boards to obtain approval for system changes from process owners. Setting up a strong escalation procedure for solution maintenance in cooperation with Information Systems (IS) and operations teams. Possessing the ability to comprehend current system capabilities and to conceptualize and implement automated internal controls within the process. Engaging with technology colleagues and Process Owners to manage vendor relationships and oversee contracts and costs. Requirements: Over 8 years of experience in the fintech sector, including expertise in process and technical design (Background in BPO/Technology outsourcing is beneficial). Possession of CISA or a similar qualification is considered an advantage. Understanding of ICOFR internal controls framework, technical control design. Proven experience in technology leadership roles, especially in process digitalization within finance or Record to Report (R2R) settings.
