What you'll be doing As a  Receptionist  working for Kmart Group, you will:
Operate the Reception desk in a warm and courteous demeanour, ensuring all visitors, contractors, and team members are welcomed professionally. Record appropriate details of all incoming visitors and manage visitor access efficiently. Handle incoming calls on the Main Kmart Switchboard during defined business hours, directing calls to the appropriate departments or individuals. Provide administrative assistance to various parts of the business as needed, showcasing your versatility and willingness to contribute to different tasks. Assist in implementing emergency responses and building evacuations, ensuring the safety and security of all individuals in the National Office. Be prepared to respond to first aid situations and utilize emergency equipment such as the duress button and fire panel isolation logbook. To be successful in this role you'll have: A minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role. The ability to interact with visitors and staff in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner, creating a positive experience for all. High level of computer literacy, including proficiency with switchboard software and Office suite applications. Strong multitasking skills, capable of managing various tasks simultaneously, especially during busy periods. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with visitors, staff, and callers. Excellent organizational abilities, allowing you to manage reception duties, administrative tasks, and emergency responses seamlessly.
