Peninsula Vet Care is a group of five locally owned and operated veterinary hospitals combined with a 24-hour emergency and specialist referral hospital on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. We have exciting opportunities for highly motivated customer service representatives with exceptional communication and organisational skills to join our general practice hospitals. About the role We are looking for acasual receptionist across our five hospitals. They are located at Mt Eliza, Mornington, Dromana, Rosebud and Rye. Our business operates 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays 9am to5pm and Sundays 10am to 2pm. Shift times are Monday to Friday 9am to 7pm 8am to 5pm, 7.30am to 4pm with Saturdays 9am to 1pm The position includes the following responsibilities: Managing multiple incoming phonelines and directing callsScheduling appointments and communicating booking requirements to clientsCommunicating patient arrivals and emergencies to clinical staffFinalising invoices, processing client payments and balancing the tillAssisting clients with pet insurance applicationsMaintaining a clean and presentable front of houseCompleting a variety of administration tasksAbout you The successful candidate will have and be able to demonstrate the following: Minimum two years' experience in a general receptionist roleAbility to provide high levels of customer serviceExceptional phone manner and communication skillsThe ability to build positive relationships Strong organisational and time management skillsThe ability to work efficiently and with initiative in a fast-paced environmentA professional and positive demeanourPrevious veterinary experience is not a requirement for this position, but a passion for customer service is!
