Receptionist Community Health Casual opportunity available __________________________________________________________________________________ An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Reception team within the Allied & Community Health Division of West Gippsland Healthcare Group.  Based primarily at our Community Health centre in Warragul, the role includes the provision of reception and administration support to clients and staff in a confidential, efficient and friendly manner. The position involves reception duties including greeting clients and visitors to the Allied Health / Community Rehabilitation Centre building, telephone enquiries and messages, computer work, clerical and administrative duties, managing client files and other duties as required. Our preferred candidates will have: Excellent communication skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Word & Excel Ability to operate a range of office equipment including the VOIP telephone system Experience in providing administrative support A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements Responsible and mature work attitude Previous experience within a hospital or health care environment would be also considered advantageous. We have a casual opportunity available. Casuals are employed on an 'as needs' basis to backfill leave and extra shifts on days, nights and weekends. Casual positions do not include regular hours. IMPORTANT:  All staff employed in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 (3 doses) and Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement.  About our organisation The West Gippsland Healthcare Group is a customer focused health organisation providing acute medical and surgical, obstetric, emergency, residential care and community health services to 45,000 people in the rural, urban residential, agricultural and industrial areas located within the Baw Baw Shire and beyond.
