About the Role The Receptionist / Administration Officer – Communications and Engagement is responsible for:
Providing professional and courteous reception services for Catholic Education Services Providing general administration support to the Communications and Engagement team Performing a range of 'front of house' duties including reception and switchboard, the Receptionist is the first point of contact for the organisation. Therefore, it is essential that the incumbent possess high-level interpersonal skills consistent with the core values of Catholic education and represents Catholic Education Services in a positive manner. The Receptionist will perform a range of administrative duties including mailroom and stationary management, and coordination of room and vehicle bookings.
The Administration Officer – Communications and Engagement will assist the Communications and Engagement team by providing effective and efficient administrative support through a variety of duties including assisting with the production of communications and marketing material such as PowerPoint presentations and infographics, ordering and distributing printed and promotional products, and coordinating travel and event bookings.
The position will report to the Manager Communications and Engagement. Duties are performed under routine and/or limited supervision depending on the duties/responsibilities. Work may be checked in relation to overall progress. Duties may involve a level of autonomy when working in teams.
Work Requirements Experience in providing high level administrative support to individual or teams and knowledge of various administration functions. Intermediate computer literacy skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Organisational and planning skills and ability to prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Hold a current driver's licence. Hold a Working with Children Blue Card. Be fully supportive of the ethos of Catholic Education.
