Bundaberg CANEGROWERS, a not-for-profit public company representing the interests of local sugarcane growers, is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Administration Assistant Trainee.
About Us: Bundaberg CANEGROWERS provides a professional and cohesive voice for local growers, supporting their needs and fostering growth in the community.
This traineeship, offered in partnership with East Coast Apprenticeships, is the perfect opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience while working towards a nationally recognized qualification.
Key Responsibilities: As part of your role, you will be trained to Deliver courteous and efficient client/customer service.
Process and record all incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain and update membership records.
Assist the Manager with administrative tasks.
Organise and maintain filing and archiving systems.
Create and distribute newsletters, flyers, meeting notices, and other communications.
Support insurance and payroll preparation tasks.
Perform general office duties as required.
What You'll Need to Succeed: Strong customer service skills.
Proven computer literacy and confidence using office software.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team, as well as independently.
Strong time management and organisational skills to meet deadlines.
Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
Basic knowledge of general office procedures.
Completion of Year 12 studies.
