We are a national provider of independent medical specialist opinion and advisory service to insurers, government departments, self-insured companies and the legal profession.
This role is essential for how we present ourselves to our clients, consulting specialists and patients.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our team continues to provide a high level of customer service and clerical support in a fast-paced environment.
Your key responsibilities include: Answering and/or directing phone callsMeet and greet all visitors to the officeCheck in patients, ensure completion of paperwork and update patient detailsGeneral administrative tasks such as filing, scanning and scheduling appointmentsContact claimants regarding upcoming appointmentsMail distribution and dispatch (including courier management)Manage the day to day presentation and preparation of consulting roomsAdministration support to Medical Specialist and Client Services TeamTo be considered for this role you will have demonstrated: Exceptional attention to detailExperience prioritising work in a very busy office environmentGood time management with the ability to manage interruptions and re-adjust prioritiesExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsA positive, empathetic, helpful approach and able to work within a confidential environmentStrong organisational and prioritisation skills, while maintaining flexibilityComputer literacy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office programsExperience working in the healthcare/medical practice/legal sector an advantagemlcoa offers an exciting and fast paced team environment where client focus, drive and respect are key features.
