Job Overview: Austral Business Machines is looking for an organised and proactive Receptionist to manage front-office functions, handle customer enquiries, and assist with daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, professional, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities: Be the first point of contact for clients, greeting visitors warmly, managing enquiries, and directing calls efficiently. Provide excellent customer service, assisting customers with enquiries related to orders, deliveries, and service requests. Support inventory control by monitoring stock levels, unpacking and inspecting deliveries, and updating records for accuracy. Coordinate and book deliveries to meet schedule requirements. Manage the administration inbox, process purchase orders, organise invoices, and assist with transaction processing. Maintain accurate records to ensure smooth operations and efficient workflows. Qualifications and Skills: Experience: Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role is preferred. Skills: Strong organisational, multitasking, time management, and communication skills. Logistics Proficiency: Experience with booking and managing deliveries is an asset. Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with office software (email, Excel) and equipment. Attention to Detail: Skilled in inventory tracking, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records.
