We are seeking a Transport Manager to join a fast-paced, customer-focused team within the distribution sector.This position offers a competitive salary range and a company performance-based bonus.About the RoleAs the Receiving and Transport Manager, you will oversee all aspects of inbound logistics and transport activities across Australia and New Zealand. This role involves working closely with local and international stakeholders to optimise supply chain efficiency and enhance customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the day-to-day operations of the transport and receiving team.Ensure timely and accurate processing of inbound deliveries.Oversee shipment data recording, including weight, space availability, and discrepancies.Optimise transport flows to achieve the best cost/quality/time balance.Build and maintain relationships with transport providers.Monitor and report on market conditions affecting operations.Coach, mentor, and lead a team of warehouse supervisors, staff, and logistics coordinators.What We're Looking ForProven experience in warehouse and transport management, preferably in a high-volume environment.Strong understanding of supply chain processes and WHS legislation.Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills.Strategic thinking and the ability to implement cost-effective, efficient solutions.How to ApplyIf you are passionate about supply chain excellence and thrive in a leadership role, we'd love to hear from you.
